Our kitchen is the soul of Hacienda Soltepec; it's the greatest treasure we've inherited from “La More”, who was the proprietress of our hotel until 2007.

We've created a variety of exquisite dishes from the typical elements of the Tlaxcalan kitchen, such as: cactus, gusanos de maguey (mescal worm), escamoles (insect caviar), huitlacoche (corn smut), wild mushrooms from la Malintzi (nearby mountain), pulque (alcoholic beverage made from the mescal plant), mutton, pheasant, and much more.
You can enjoy an interesting variety of flavors; from seafood dishes like “Salmón Xalapasco” and “Shrimp à la ollasca”, to fine cuts of meat such as our popular “ Soltepec Filet” or our delicious “Tacos de Arrachera”

Fruit, orange juice, mandarins, mangos, fresh green juice, pay de queso, gelatin and much more in the cold bar of our buffet! Come and try our delicious breakfast buffet it's happening every Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM!.
