Hotel Hacienda Soltepec

The experience of spending the night in the Hotel Hacienda Soltepec is like journeying into the past, strolling through the golden age of the Mexican country estates. Each one of our rooms has it's own character, so that no two are exactly alike. We offer a variety of each type of room to best suit your needs. These include:

Our hotel has had an important evolution since the year 2000 when we only had 9 rooms. Later in 2002, we installed the swimming pool and added 3 more rooms for a total of 12. In 2007 we added an additional 3 rooms including the only presidential suite “María Félix”. So by the end of the first decade of the new millennium we counted on a total of 15 rooms. Later in 2012 we managed to redesign and rescue a beautiful space in the hacienda in order to add another five more rooms for a new total of 20. August 2014 marked a new era for the hotel with the release of 14 new guest rooms in the old zone of the hacienda called the “calpanería” (this was an area reserved in bygone days for the hacienda’s employees ) so that we now offer a total of 34 rooms of different types.The rooms were constructed in such a way as to conserve and feature the old stone walls of this part of the hacienda. Unlike the other rooms, they are not numbered but rather are thematically named in accordance with their inner design, and highlight the architectural character of the hacienda style.

True to our style, in every stage of growth we have given our guestrooms unique and special touches so that no two rooms are exactly alike.

What makes us unique is not only each room’s interior design but the common areas around them, like the antique hallways and stairs or “The Garden of Little Lakes (jardin de los laguitos)”as well as the colonial stone patios that used to be located at the back of the hacienda’s “calpanería”.
