Jardín de las Ardillas

This garden is characterized by its great size and the walls that surround it, which are presently the oldest walls in standing at the hacienda.
It owes its name to the ones who inhabit it -- the variety of squirrels who play around in the trees in the mornings, and scurry away from those who wish to observe them.
This space was originally conceived as an orchard. Within it remain a variety of plum trees of which the orchard was formed, and every summer they bear hundreds of delicious plums. The center space remains clear to set up marquee tents for events, which can provide covered space for between 100 and 300 people.
